Join us for an afternoon of Tibetan Words of Wisdom with Khenpo Pema Wangdak. The afternoon will begin with a Prayer Flag Ceremony at 1:00 PM.

- 1:30 PM - Teaching, “The Power of Patience”
“There is no fortitude like patience,” wrote the Indian master Shantideva. Drawing on Shantideva’s great work, A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, Khenpo Pema will explain why patience is not only an indispensable part of spiritual development, but is the foundation of good health, peace of mind, and success in all our undertakings.
- 3:00 PM - Screening of a short film on traditional Tibetan monastic education.
- 3:30-5:00 PM - Demonstration of Tibetan Calligraphy
- Ongoing - Shop for traditional Tibetan crafts and jewelry
